Dear Members,

As we bring 2024 to a close, I want to take a moment to celebrate the successes we’ve achieved together this year and to thank you for your steadfast support of the Ohio Tire & Automotive Association (OTAA). Our mission to advocate for and empower tire and automotive businesses across Ohio has never been stronger, and this year demonstrated what we can accomplish through collaboration, determination, and a shared vision for success.

One of our standout accomplishments this year has been the expansion of our training efforts through our partnership with Garage Gurus. This program has provided invaluable hands-on training and resources to equip our members with the knowledge and tools to stay competitive in a rapidly evolving industry. By investing in the professional development of your teams, we’re not just strengthening individual businesses—we’re raising the standard for the entire automotive sector in Ohio.

In addition to advancing training and education, OTAA has been at the forefront of regulatory and legislative advocacy, successfully defending our industry against challenges that threatened small businesses. We worked tirelessly to defeat proposals that would have imposed overly cumbersome regulations on tire shops and other automotive businesses. These victories ensured that our members can continue to operate efficiently and effectively, without undue burdens that stifle growth and innovation.

These achievements would not have been possible without your engagement and commitment. Your participation—whether attending events, contributing to advocacy efforts, or sharing insights—makes all the difference in amplifying the voice of our association. Together, we have built an organization that protects and promotes the interests of tire and automotive businesses across Ohio.

As we look forward to 2024, I am excited about the opportunities ahead and confident in our ability to tackle new challenges.
